Week 4 Update
Week 3âs update never happened, but there wasnât anything particularly interesting aside from Doareâs huge 147.5 losing to Schmitzâs 156.1.
So, on to Week 4! Mark held on to the last remaining undefeated record (4-0!) by beating me handily. He had Jalen Coker in his starting lineup - who got marked âOutâ an hour before kickoff - and I was purposefully avoiding sending him any touchdown taunts in desperate hope that he wouldnât swap in time. Unfortunately he did swap in Kamara who killed me.
The GM of the Week is Jack, who kept Casey suppressed to a winless 0-4 by savantly starting E. Wilson over an array of other good options like M. Wilson, T. Pollard, and W. Marks. We all know the feeling: staring down a firing squad of split-carry RBs and above-average WRs, hoping to start the best one. Sometimes we hope - âsurely my matchup wonât come down to this middling player choiceâ - but in Mandelâs case it did, and he chose the only one who wouldâve won him this week. A trench victory from elite GMâing!!
Best Team - Moorehead - 134.06
Unfortunately a semi-ironic pop-off against the big man this week, spurred by Tetty McMillan. Brings back memories of Kobe dropping 60 in his farewell game, salute.
Ericâs team is admittedly one of the best 0-4 teams Iâve ever seen, I think we may just be seeing the resulting curse from naming your team after a player you donât roster.
Worst Team - Graham - 65.52
Itâs been a brutal start for the Graham Jam squad, since he did also have the worst team last week. Won in Week 2 with a Davante Adams megagame, but the upside is admittedly hard to find. Now he plays the undefeated Mark.
